Vigor Yang is the William R. T. Oakes Professor and Chair of the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include fluid and combustion dynamics in chemical propulsion systems, energetics, and high-pressure thermodynamics and transport. A Fellow of AIAA, ASME, and the Royal Aeronautical Society, he has been editor-in-chief of the AIAA Journal of Propulsion and Power and the JANNAF Journal of Propulsion and Energetics. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Joint Army-Navy-NASA-Air Force Interagency Propulsion Committee in 2014.
